Students from Lancaster University have felt the impact of strike action. Our group consists of 5 students from different nationalities, coming from places where strikes are performed alternatively, or not at all. Unfamiliar with the UK strike action, we decided to explore it more by making this documentary; educating ourselves on the topic and hopefully others too. We follow the Dalton Square demonstration through Lancaster, take part in the Lancaster University picket line and hear from a teacher, student, parent and council member about their opinions on the strike, and their reasons for their involvement.
